A bright, poignant, and deeply funny autobiographical account of coming of age as an amputee cancer survivor, from Josh Sundquist: Paralympic ski racer, YouTube star, and motivational speaker.

Josh Sundquist only ever had one girlfriend.
For twenty-three hours.
In eighth grade.

Why was Josh still single? To find out, he tracked down the girls he had tried to date and asked them straight up: What went wrong?

The results of Josh's semiscientific, wholly hilarious investigation are captured here. From a disastrous Putt-Putt date involving a backward prosthetic foot, to his introduction to CFD (Close Fast Dancing), to a misguided "grand gesture" at a Miss America pageant, this story is about looking for love--or at least a girlfriend--in all the wrong places.

We Should Hang Out Sometime is the (embarrassingly) true story of Josh Sundquist’s love life, or lack thereof. Josh has never had a girlfriend and now in his mid-twenties, he decides to figure out why. He recounts all his past experiences to figure out why his attempts at getting a girlfriend have failed, and reunites with these women to see why his attempts have failed.

If you rarely read nonfiction, like me, I definitely think that you should make an exception for We Should Hang Out Sometime. Josh uses his love of math, something he actually understands unlike girls, to go through the past and hopefully come up with a reason to why he never had a girlfriend. And it works brilliantly, and hilariously. The different graphics (i.e. types of charts) were just a wonderful addition to the story. I loved reading Josh’s journey, and the overall conclusions he made were just awesome.

Overall, We Should Hang Out Sometime is a wonderful and hilarious memoir about a finding love in all the wrong places. I highly recommend it for people looking for a quick, and somewhat unusual, read.
