Meg is newly single since Sophia went off to college, and she doesn’t particularly like it. When her best friend Linus refuses to approach Danny, the boy he likes, she finds the perfect project to distract herself from her own heartbreak. And Danny seems interested enough, but Linus continues to be oblivious, and maybe Sophia isn’t quite as out of the picture as Meg thought she was…

I received a copy of this book for review from the publisher, this does not influence my thoughts on the book or this review.

When I heard about this latest LGBT romance from Swoon Reads, I knew I had to read it. If you’re looking for a wonderful cute story, I highly recommend Meg & Linus.

When Meg’s girlfriend breaks up with her, she distracts herself by trying to set up her best friend Linus with the cute new kid, Danny. Not only does Meg & Linus provide two very unique perspectives, I loved that the POV was split between friends. Usually dual-POV stories are focused on two love interests but I enjoyed that it was not the case in Meg & Linus.

I loved reading about Meg & Linus’s friendship and that their bond was through sci-fi shows like Doctor Who and other nerdy fandoms. Meg and Linus were two very different characters, and I loved that their personalities were distinct. While I do recognize their differences, their personalities were a bit lackluster and flat. The plot also took a while to develop a bit and for a romance, there was no real romance until the last part of the book.

Overall, Meg & Linus was a fun read that I recommend to those looking for a cute romance that also has strong friendship elements!
