Top Ten Tuesday – Top Ten Scary Books I Can’t Believe I Still Haven’t Read

Posted October 31, 2017 by Angie in Features & Spotlights / 4 Comments

For this month’s fun Angie fact – I REALLY LOVE SCARY THINGS. And by scary things I mean the atmospheric ‘HOLY SHIT WHERE DID THAT DOLL COME FROM WHAT IS THAT SHADOW WHY IS IT MOVING WE’RE ALL GONNA DIE’ scary rather than the ‘Oh that clown just stabbed somebody in the face and there is blood EVERYWHERE’ gory horror movie crap.

So obviously I love reading scary books and EVERY October I swear that this is the month I read all the scary things I’ve been waiting for the Halloween season to read – and then of course I never do – so this years Halloween freebie will be the top ten scary books I should have read already.

Coraline by Neil Gaiman
The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman
The Mark of Cain by Lindsey Barraclough

There’s Someone Inside Your House by Stephanie Perkins
Blood and Salt by Kim Liggett
Stalking Jack the Ripper by Kerri Maniscalco

Beware the Wild by Natalie C. Parker
Conversion by Katherine Howe
Fiendish by Brenna Yovanoff
The Child Thief by Brom

  1. I love scary books that really keep you on your toes. I have heard some good things about There’s Someone Inside Your House. I hope you enjoy!

  2. Oooh, The Child Thief has been on my TBR for years and I always forget about it! I feel like Halloween is the only time to read it but hopefully I won’t leave it another whole year! Great list 🙂

    Here’s my TTT.

  3. Hi Angie, what a great Halloween TBR list! I feel like I have the same problem! I say I’m going to go with the holiday and yet get caught up in what I’ve been buying and never get to my creepy reads! I’ve heard some great things about Stalking Jack the Ripper and Child Thief… those are on my TBR too!

I love top 10 Tuesday… Here is my post if you’re interested in my choices <3 https://wp.me/p3LRfZ-6Vt
