#ARCAugust Week 2 Recap!

Posted August 15, 2016 by Shelly in Challenges / 10 Comments

Hey everyone! Today marks the start of week 3 meaning we are halfway done with ARC August! I finally finished my last exam this weekend meaning I can finally start really getting into all these ARCs. In terms of other news, our #ARCAugust Twitter chat was last night!

I’m feeling extremely lazy so here’s a list of the books I’ve read this week!

– Furthermore by Tahereh Mafi (4/5 stars!)
– Queens of Geek by Jen Wild (5/5 stars!)

I’m 80% through Timekeeper by Tara Sim so I’ll see if I finish it before this post goes live!

How are you doing so far? What books have you read this week?

  1. Ahhhh! I am so far behind! : ( I’ve only read one ARC so far, but it was SO good! I am in the middle of reading like three right now…so I HOPE I can make it through all 10! I think I’ll do a Week 1-3 wrap up since I haven’t read any in Week 1 and only the one in Week 2. Who knows, maybe all three will be read for Week Three!

  2. I am a little behind of my goal, but I got 5 books read so far, so I won’t beat myself up too much. I can’t believe how fast August is going. Thanks for hosting this challenge, it definitely motivating me!

  3. I’ve made it through my second ARC this week! The bad news is it was my first ever one-star review. It was a 480-page book that took two grueling days to read – and I feel so bad knowing the pub/author is going to read my one-star review. I don’t know if I’d have a strong enough heart to be an author!

Looking forward to the other three ARCS on my list that are much more promising. Not to mention reading some non-ARCs once I’m done with my books for august; I found some goodies at the thrift store this week!

  4. I am soo far behind on my TBR for this month! In between work and personal drama I feel like I’ve had no time to sit down and read. I’m still reading The Girl Who Drank The Moon – I’m 70% of the way through it so hopefully I’ll be able to finish it by the end of the month!
