Ahh can you believe we’re in our last week-ish of ARC August? How was your reading this week?

This week, I read:

Iron Cast by Destiny Soria
Girl Mans Up by M-E Girard
How to Make Out by Brianna Shrum

How has your reading been this week? What’s on your TBR for the last week of August?

  1. I can’t believe August is almost over already! This week I’m publishing a review on The Hundred Lies of Lizzie Lovett (which was AMAZING) and next week will be a double post on The Mermaid Chair by Sue Monk Kidd (I found an old ARC from 2005!) and The Fixer by Jenny Holiday from NetGalley.

  2. I read 3 ARC last week which makes my total so far 6. I read The Light Fantastic by Sarah Combs, Kids of Appetite by David Arnold, and War Dogs Tales of Canine Heroism, History, and Love by Rebecca Fankel.

  3. I had a great reading week last week. I got two ARCs done, bringing my total to three! I have two more on my TBR and I’m hoping to get through them this week.

  4. Knocked out my third book for Week 3, Still Life with Tornado by A.S. King. It was FABULOUS and deeply moving and I am blanket recommending it to everyone on the planet. Not just because it’s incredibly written, but because it’s an important story about abuse, survival and family with the little twist of the protagonist meeting past and future versions of herself.

I have the graphic novel Ghosts by Raina Telgemeier that I’ll probably do next just so I can absolutely make sure I meet my goal of four. 🙂

  5. Week 3 went better for me…read some from my original goal list and some that I added.

    -Thieving Weasels by Billy Taylor
-All Shook Up by Chelsey Krause
-Man, I Hate Cursive: Cartoons for People and Advanced Bears by Jim Benton
    -Polaris by Beth Bowland

Reviews of all of my #ARCAugust reads are on my blog and/or Goodreads (www.goodreads.com/2many2read).
