arc august

Happy week 2 of ARC August!  Don’t forget to use the hashtag on Twitter to keep track of everything and join us on our Twitter Chat this Sunday August 14th at 8pm EST!

I’ve only read 3 ARCs this week. Hopefully I can get this week on track and read a few more. The ones I’ve read are:

Ghostly Echoes by William Ritter
Keeping Her Secret by Sarah Nicolas
The Girl Who Drank the Moon by Kelly Barhil

How are you doing with your goals? How many books did you read in the first week?

  1. I only have a goal of 3 arcs for the month and I am 20% of the way through my first one, The Girl Who Drank the Moon.

  2. I’ve read 1 whole ARC and another ended up being a DNF. I’m not a super fast reader + I work a LOT of hours so I’m pretty happy with my progress so far.

  3. I’ve only read two books last week and just finished a third one today. Not where I wanted to be at this point, but I haven’t had a day off yet, so that is to be expected.

  4. I read 1 ARC, The Mime Order (The Bone Season, #2)
by Samantha Shannon, it has been on my kindle forever and I finally finished it. I’m about 40 % finished with my next read, Yesternight by Cat Winters

  5. I was on vacay for the first week of August so I’ve just finished & reviewed my first ARC! Since I didn’t plan this out very well, I’m simultaneously reading library books before they have to go back and basically I’m drowning in reviews that need to be written haha

  6. I have a goal of Five this month, but my goal post got deleted because of a database error and my data got lost. Oh well. things happen. I have read 2 of 5 this month so far.

  7. I am pretty much failing ARC August this time around. I have been doing bad with remembering to use the hashtag on twitter and have forgotten about writing my ARC August updates. I have only managed to read three so far. I have written reviews for all of them though, so that’s good I guess. I am currently on my 4th and 5th ARC. I am switching back and forth between an e-book copy and a physical copy. Am I supposed to be leaving links to my reviews?
