Recently, a new hashtag has started its way around Twitter. #QuietYA is a hashtag that aims to showcase some books that haven’t been placed in the spotlight like they deserve. Julie, as the hashtag creator, has created this entire event. She even did an interview with herself and it’s quite amazing! You can read the post here. Without any further ado, here are some of my #QuietYA picks!

Here are some #QuietYAs that I highly recommend!

The Half Life of Molly Pierce The Unfinished Life of Addison Stone All Our Yesterdays Scarlett Undercover Making Pretty Devoted Ask Again Later

  1. Great list. Boy Toy is on my wishlist. I think mine would be Powerless by Tracy Deebs & Tera Lynn Childs. Also Doomed by Tracy Deebs. Both have so much action and some pretty awesome characters.

  2. I’ve read Sublime by Christina Lauren and Boy Toy by Barry Lyga and totally loved both of them! I highly recommend them.

  3. Boy Toy was fantastic! I recently reviewed it!

I’ve seen The Fixer around quite a bit lately, so I may need to see what that’s all about!

  4. Clarisa

DJ Rising by Love Maia and Akata Witch by Nnedi Okorafor are my top books that I adore but others would not give them a chance.
