STS

Stacking the Shelves is a short feature on Read.Sleep.Repeat. where we showcase new, old or borrowed books that we got in the past week(s)!

I know it’s not Sunday but I have decided to post this anyway because SO MANY BOOKS! Most are library books, and I got a physical ARC that isn’t pictured, but we’ll get to that all below!

Library Books

Fiendish by Brenna Yovanoff: I already read this one and it was just fantastic! A chat-style review with Octavia and I might be coming up next month!

Falling into Place by Amy Zhang: I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about this one so I am really excited to see what the buzz is all about!

We Were Liars by E.Lockhart: Apparently this one is really twisty and awesome, and it’s not too long, so I can’t wait to read this one too!

The Ask and the Answer by Patrick Ness: I read the first book in this series, The Knife of Never Letting Go, way back when so I definitely need to continue the series!

Better Nate Than Ever by Tim Federle: This seems like a cute book and I’ve been wanting to read it for a while now so I decided to just take it out!

Anatomy of a Misfit by Andrea Portes: I haven’t heard too much about this one but everything that I’ve read about it is all praise so I decided to check this one out for myself

Can’t Look Away by Donna Cooner: This one seems really interesting and very modern, and I haven’t heard too much about it, so I can’t wait to read it!

September Girls by Bennett Madison: I’ve heard some pretty negative things about this one but I need to read it for my Summer Bingo so I have decided to read it and get a chance to see what all the fuss is about!

Blind by Rachel DeWoskin: This book seems so different (in a good way) from many YA books out there and I can’t wait to read it, it sounds beautiful.

Midnight Thief by Livia Blackbourne: Octavia ordered everyone to go pre-order this one but because of book-buying ban, I’ve decided to take it out from the library instead! I can’t wait to read it!

On the Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta: I’ve never read a Marchetta novel (*cue gasps*) and since this one is the September pick for the contemporary lovers GR group I’m a part of, I decided to make this one the first!

ARCs:

The Glass Arrow by Kristen Simmons: *intense yelling* *fangirling shrieks* *jumps up and down*

(not pictured) My Heart and Other Black Holes by Jasmine Warga: I already read this one (easily 4.5-5 stars!) and I lent my ARC to a co-worker because I want to force everyone I know to read this one! It is fantastic & make sure to keep an eye out for a review closer to the release date!

Bought:

But wait, aren’t I on a book buying ban?! Yes, I am still on a book buying ban but I couldn’t resist buying these books! (see why below)

Mostly Good Girls by Leila Sales: This is the only Leila Sales book I haven’t read (that’s released, I mean) and when I saw that I could buy it online for $5 plus free shipping, I HAD TO!

Fixing Delilah by Sarah Ockler: Not sure what this one is about per se but I love contemporaries and when I saw this for $1 at a library book sale, I had to get it!

Every You, Every Me by David Levithan: Also got this for $1 at a library book sale and the only explanation I have is DAVID FREAKING LEVITHAN
