If you’re reading this title, then you are probably thinking “uhm.. who the heck is Shelly?!?!” Well to answer your question, Shelly is the most awesome person ever!! OK you got me, that’s not who I am. I am OFFICIALLY the new co-blogger at Read. Sleep. Repeat!

And yes I know it’s weird to be writing my own welcome post but THAT’S HOW WE ROLL! Shall I talk about myself some more?

I will start with some fun things to know about me and any questions you have can be addressed in the comments! Hi everyone, I’m Shelly and it’s nice to meet all of you! I am an optimist and proud Hufflepuff (I hereby decree that all Hufflepuff jokes end here!) and I’m a proud Canadian (no igloo jokes either please). I am super loyal and probably too excited to properly write about myself!I am super productive (every post I write is ahead of schedule) and I fangirl about really good YA. I will read all contemporary but I never love all of it. I am sometimes the black sheep but I own that badge with pride! And because I’m sure you all want to know what I look like, here’s a picture of me to the left!

Octavia and I met through Twitter (as one does) and we’ve been friends ever since! We’ve always debated “to co-blog or not to co-blog” when one day, Octavia tweeted it again and it hit me, WHY DON’T WE BECOME CO-BLOGGERS? To most people, blogging with someone you met on the internet after knowing each other for a few months is crazy but luckily Octavia was crazy enough to accept! We’ve been attempting to do this co-blogging thing for a while now and it’s just SO FUN! It takes off a lot of pressure from both of us and it makes blogging much more fun! Like Octavia always says to me, we are in a partnership now and I’m enjoying it! I’m a planner and I have a fear of procrastination while Octavia is the Queen of Procrastination so I think this will work out nicely.

Thanks for letting me introduce myself and give my little spiel. To celebrate, I’m giving away a SIGNED copy of Cress by Marissa Meyer with a small amount of swag (a.k.a one button and a postcard from the event)! I have made it mandatory that only followers of Read,Sleep,Repeat can enter because I want this to be for all the new followers that I get to meet!
