Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by  The Broke and The Bookish.

Today’s Top Ten list is either going to bring about A LOT of bookish recommendations or A LOT of bookish shame….

Top Ten Popular Authors We’ve Never Read Before

My new co-blogger and I have a lot of authors in common for this list so I’ll try to keep the duplicates to a minimum (cough Neil Gaiman cough)

Everneath HR

Brodi Ashton

Brodi Ashton, aka, the author of the hugely poplar Everneath trilogy. I’ve owned the first book in the series for over a year and have yet to actually sit down and read it! I don’t know what my problem is but that will change soon! Especially since I’ve heard such good things about the series!

Sweet Evil HR

Wendy Higgins

Yep haven’t read anything by Wendy Higgins either! And I bought Sweet Evil at the same time I bought Everneath! I am totally failing as a book nerd.

The Moon and More HR

Sarah Dessen

STOP JUDGING ME!!! I’m not a contemporary fan so I’ve never been compelled exactly to pick up a Dessen book. You’re still judging!

Pivot Point HR

Kasie West

To be fair I do have Pivot Point, Split Second and The Distance Between Us on my TBR and wish list. So that counts for something right? Right?!

Hopeless

Collen Hoover

I own this….and Losing Hope. Obviously I am an expert at questionable life decisions. O_O

O-Sign RSR 2.0.2

Vampire Academy

 Richelle Mead

Yes, yes, I know I must read Richelle’s books soon. To be fair, I never liked vampires so the whole ‘vampire academy’ thing doesn’t appeal to me.

Philip Pullman

I know, I really need to read this series.  But you might have to encourage me

Julie Kagawa

I’ve only heard amazing things about Julie Kagawa’s books and I really need to read them. I’ve been wanting to so badly but I haven’t found the time!

Lauren DeStefano

I’ve heard amazing things about this author but I’m still iffy.

Laurie Halse Anderson

I have a copy of this book sitting on my shelves and I know it’ll be amazing but for some reason, I can’t bring myself to read it. I really need to read her books.
