Stacking the Shelves: The One Where Shelly Thought She Went Overboard

March 12, 2014 Features & Spotlights 2

We haven’t done a Stacking the Shelves post in a while and it’s about time because honestly, I went SO overboard these past couple of weeks. Friendly reminder: Stacking the Shelves is a meme hosted at Tynga’s Reviews where we can showcase the books we bought, borrowed or received for review.

This week, I went to my regular bookstore and got three books and after, my family and I went to World’s Biggest Bookstore located in downtown Toronto. Sadly, the store is closing but on the bright side, all their inventory is 50% off so I ended up getting quite a bit of books (including some stuff for Octavia!). I thought I got a lot more than those listed below but I have to remind myself that I bought quite a bit of books for my sister and some for others.

Books Bought

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic, Volume 1 by Ohtaka Shinobu
Me and Earl and the Dying Girl by Jesse Andrews
Someone Else’s Life by Katie Dale
Winterling by Sarah Prineas
Vitro by Jessica Khoury
Roomies by Sara Zarr and Tara Altebrando
Hawkeye Volume 1: My Life as a Weapon
FF Volume 2

I also got a couple of books from NetGalley last week but I don’t think it’s recent enough to post. I wasn’t going to post this but I already spent time writing the post so ENJOY IT ANYWAY!

What books did you get this week? Any books from my haul that I should read ASAP?

Yay for 50% off, but so sad that they’re closing! There aren’t any bookstores local to me anymore, and it kills me to have to order online all the time. I miss going through shelves of books…
    Enjoy your new reads!!!
