There’s something achingly familiar about Daniel Grigori.

Mysterious and aloof, he captures Luce Price’s attention from the moment she sees him on her first day at the Sword & Cross boarding school in sultry Savannah. He’s the one bright spot in a place where cell phones are forbidden, the other students are all screw-ups, and security cameras watch every move.

Even Daniel wants nothing to do with Luce – he goes out of his way to make that very clear. But she can’t let it go. Drawn to him like a moth to a flame, Luce has to find out what Daniel is so desperate to keep secret...even if it kills her.

Dangerously exciting and darkly romantic, FALLEN is a page-turning thriller and the ultimate love story.

Good morning lovelies! Today I have the pleasure of sharing my thoughts of Lauren Kate’s YA book Fallen! Now if you follow me twitter or have seen my “thoughts” already  then I’m sure you know how this “review” will end. But! For shits and giggles hit play!

  1. This review is THE BEST. There are actually three sequels, four if you count the mid-series novella. Believe me, Fallen is a good point to stop at. Of course I wished you hadn’t had to read this, but then this hilarious video wouldn’t have been made. Obviously, Fallen is the gift that keeps on giving. Yeah, hm. The biggest plot hole is that Lucinda doesn’t die from her own stupidity.

  2. Thank you! And 3 sequels?! For this mess??!!! No thank you! And it really is a wonder that Luce didn’t fall into a fresh grave and bury herself! 😉

  3. Hehehehehe, I’ve loved your review!

I read the whole series, and I’m not even sure how I managed! The whole story could have been told in two books max, not 4 and the best book is the last but unfortunately that’s not saying much…

Reading book one the story seems to be going somewhere but when you read the final book it is just something completely different… ugh!

This series almost put me off books about angels forever! Thankfully I was recommended Angelfall by Kristen and Sam!!

  4. (Apparently I’ve decided to leave running commentary as I watch your video review.)

“I like my women like I like my books: pretty in the outside and not too big on the inside”? (Couldn’t help myself! :P)

Is it horrible that I got a kind of guilty glee from watching this? I read the entire series and gave it 3 stars across the board, but that’s mostly because I’m nice and can be somewhat easy to please…

Oooh, colorful paper clips! I approve! LOL at running out of paper clips!

The weird thing about the prologue, for me, was that at no point in the ENTIRE SERIES did she actually go back and reference this particular moment (that I am aware of). -_-

Wow, really, everyone loves Cam? (I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.) I find him pretty annoying. But I also found Daniel super annoying, so, heh.

You know what’s hilarious is that I have a very good friend who is actually very…er…naive and friendly and sees the best in everyone? I’m not saying she’s *dumb* like Luce, but I’m saying that there are good people in the world who genuinely want to (and CAN) be friends with anyone, no matter that the person might not have the best intentions or criminal history. o_O

lolol I’m remembering that part where Luce just gets in the car with Cam and goes with him. What the EFF, lol.

Look, I’m just saying… this is what you get when you let other people decide what you should read! Muahahaha! ;D
