It’s day two of the Summer Lovin’ read-a-thon people! And of course that means a new day of participation and challenge post!

YouretheOneThatIWant2 (1)

Tell us which books are on the top of your must-have summer reads list. They can be books you’ve read and recommend others to read, or books you want to read.

Now to me a must have summer read is something that’s light and airy. Such as….

SignificantAccordanceDefianceReverenceIndependence

While a few books IΒ want to read this summer are….

Siege and StormAcross the UniverseImmortal CityIndelibleInsignia

Not bad if I do say so myself! Don’t forget to link up your participation post on

Read-a-thon Centrals website!

Now on to today’s challenge, which is hosted by Nancy of Tumbling Books!

CoverRedo2

Alright so I decided to re-do the cover to one of my favorite books. I do think the original cover is phenomenal and covergasm worthy.

  1. The ones you want to read are all on my TBR list… I haven’t heard of your other ones, though I will have to check them out now! πŸ™‚

  2. LOL I didn’t participate in today’s challenge because I was quite intimidated with some of the fantastic alternative covers, some I’m unable to tell if it’s the original or not. I do love yours though, that’s definitely an original LOL

  3. I agree that the perfect summer read is something light and airy, but I tend to use the summer for catching up on books that I have been meaning to read.
As for your cover redo… How can one mess with perfection, right?

  4. I couldn’t stand Significance! I skimmed through a majority of it, but will admit I do want to know how it ends. LOL

What a beautiful original piece of artwork! It needs to be put in a museum. I like her hair too!

  5. It ended wrapped in a bow (so not a spoiler) but it was a light read for me. Something that helps pick you up out of a book slump or helps you with a book hangover. πŸ™‚

I paid extra special attention to her hair! She is well groomed in the book!
