Stacking My Shelves For Sunday is a mash up of two different weekly meme’s with similar ideas: Books, Biscuits and Tea’s and Tynga’s Reviews

Stacking the Shelves

Hey guys! This week, somehow, I didn’t spend one red cent on books! This wasn’t some goal I had all planned out, I just didn’t get a chance to shop. But I did make a stop at my local library where I got a few cool reads! So without further ado…LE BOOKS!

Thanks Stephanie of Read, Rinse, Repeat

and I so butchered Renae’s site (I’m sorry!)

  1. I completely forgot about Feed. I want to read that one too. What’s your favorite YA zombie book? I’ve only read a few zombie books so far, but I liked them.

p.s. I mentioned you in my STS vlog this week bc my bookmarks finally came in!!

  2. ohh that’s a tough question! The 1st YA zombie book I read was Hollowland by Amanda Hocking and it’s definitely up in my top 3. I don’t have a favorite though, in fact I should read more zombie books!

(thanks for the mention! Your bookmarks are so cute!)

  3. I may or may not have spent $100 on books… Oops. But, I bought:

I’ve Got Your Number by Sophie Kinsella
Across the Universe by Beth Revis
World War Z by Max Brooks
Ready Player One by Ernest Cline
    Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
City of Bones by Cassandra Clare

I feel like I might be forgetting some, but that’s all I can remember at midnight.

  4. You haven’t read City of Bones yet?? Awesome, I’m no longer the ONLY person who hasn’t. I feel like everyone has read it but me, I just never seem to get to it. I plan to read it at some point this summer though.

  5. At least you got some good books for 100 bucks! I need a new copy of Across the Universe! I feel like the only person who hasn’t read that series!

  6. I really need to read Feed! I love zombie books too but I haven’t read too many YA ones yet. Which are your favorites?
I have an audiobook of Anna Dressed in Blood but I’ve yet to listen to it. I might try to start it soon though. Great haul! I look forward to seeing your thoughts on Insignia!

  7. I don’t have a fave (yet) but my go to zombie re-read is Hollowland by Amanda Hocking (for YA) and Nightfall by Ellen Connor (for Adult). They have some amazing action scenes!

One you start Anna Dressed in Blood let me know! I’d love to hear what you think as you go!

Thanks for dropping by! (Insignia sounds sooo good!)

  8. Thank you for the shout out, Octavia! 🙂 Sadly, I have not read Feed yet, even though I’ve still got it checked out from the library. I just feel so guilty every time I pick up a library because of my ARC backlog. And yeah, Parasite sounds so good!

  9. LOL. This video was funny as heck. First off, I loved how you forgot what Igsinia was about at first! That book looks good, but ehhh, I have too much to tackle right now.
And poor librarian! The Naming looks like a book I would pick up, but hmm, I do trust Renae’s reviews too….so idk…and fantasy is my thing! Hope you are enjoying Feed!
