Yay it’s almost time for Bout of Books!! Woo hoo!!

Vintage Happy Dance

Tonight hundreds of book lovers will join in the Bout of Books week long read-a-thon! Even though it’s my 1st Bout of Books session I’m so darn excited!!! But I wanted to set a few goals for myself, just a few things to make sure I don’t fail, or flake, or get distracted by lint….

Socializing Goals:

* Participate in at least 6 of the 9 daily challenges.

(I suck at poems…you’ve been warned.)

*Participate in all the Twitter Chat’s!

* Tweet!

Reading Goals:

* I plan to read all week!

* Keep notes as I read and write reviews as I go.

* READ ALL THE BOOKS!

Ok not all the books but these 10 definitely:

Bout of Books ReadaYep, I’m hoping to get through 10 books. I think I have a nice variety of genres to avoid the notorious “reading rut”, but luck is always appreciated!

My most important goal is to meet awesome people, have fun, and fondle strangers…like this:

  1. I’ve been wondering about Arclight. Heard mixed reviews for it. And I’m very interested to see how you like (or don’t like) The Selection lol.

  2. I’m trying to go into each of these books with happy thoughts, obviously that didn’t work so well with The Selection but I hope that’s the only one!

  3. Great poem! lol And it’s too bad that you’re not really enjoying The Selection, it’s seriously one of my favorite books. Not because it’s spectacular writing, but it’s kind of a guilty pleasure, like reality tv! haha

  4. Thanks ma’am! I’m horrible at poems but I’m actually a bit proud here lol. And The Selection wasn’t “light it on fire” horrible, it was just really frustrating! But I’ve finished it and once I gather my thoughts you’ll hear about it lol.
